“Oikawa-senpai?” a tall boy stood in front of my front door. I blinked. “What are you doing here?”
“Is your brother home?” Oikawa peeked over my shoulder.
“No,” I replied.
“Good,” Oikawa murmured to himself.
“Why? Do you want to do something my brother wouldn’t approve of?”
“Well, if you want to,” Oikawa smirked.
“Senpai!” I blushed., “Seriously though. Why are you here if you’re not here for Oni-chan?”
“I stopped by your house to see if you were free today,” Oikawa rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
“Are you asking me out?” I raised my eyebrows.
“Yeah?” Oikawa looked in my eyes. I groaned inwardly. What a player.
“Idiot. You probably do this all the time with other girls,” I shut the door with a slam in his face.
“Iwaizumi-chan. Come on,” Oikawa said from the other side of the door. My heart ached. Of course I wanted to go with him. I’ve liked my brother’s best friend for the longest time.
“What happened to your girlfriend? Why me anyways?” I leaned against the door.
“I broke up with her last week.”
“You really are a player aren’t you. Last week?”
“That’s because I found you.”
“You’ve known me for years, senpai.”
“I’m sorry it took me so long to realize my feelings.”
“Stop being a player. It won’t work on me,” I wanted him to be different than he usually was to other people. For me to be special to him.
“Do you want to go for a walk in the park instead? We can stop to get a popsicle too,” Oikawa’s words surprised me.
“You-You remembered?”
“Of course. Whenever you would tag along with Iwai-chan and me, you would get a popsicle and whenever you weren’t at home or school, you would be walking by yourself at the park.”
I opened the door.
“Ready to go?”
I nodded.

“I was studying for that test, you know,” I nod for Oikawa to continue, “but on the test day, I realized I studied the wrong textbook!” I slapped my head, laughing.
“You’re so stupid!”
“That’s not true. I’m good at some stuff.”
“Yeah. Volleyball and picking up girls.”
“I can’t believe it though! When Karasuno won against Shiratorizawa, I was mad that they won, but if it was the other way around, I would still be mad that Shiratorizawa won!” Oikawa threw his hands up. I burst into laughter, licking the rest of my popsicle off.
“You really are a crappy person, senpai.”
“That’s what Iwai-chan said! You talk like your brother.”
“I take that as an insult.”
“But it’s a compliment! Iwai-chan is smart.”
“Nah. Senpai, you’re just stupid.”
“That’s not nice!” we both exploded into giggles.
“But there’s a reason why I always come here, you know,” I said.
“Why’s that?”
“I’ll show you,” I grabbed Oikawa’s hand, pulling him to the hiking paths.
“Doesn’t this path just lead to the playground?” Oikawa raced after me.
“But there’s something behind the playground that not a lot of people know about, surprisingly,” I walked behind some trees. A tall fence appeared in front of me. “This used to be the old tennis courts, so we should be allowed behind the fences. But, I found a part of the fence that was broken.” I followed the side of the fence until we reached a part of the fence that was a bit torn. I crawled to the other side, waiting for Oikawa.
When he finally got himself through, he looked up and gasped.
“It-It’s beautiful,” he said, breathless.
“Isn’t it?” I smiled. The old tennis courts were now filled with wildflowers and grass that seemed like the pretty backgrounds a lot of people used for photos. I looked at Oikawa, alarmed that tears were streaming down his face.
“A-Are you okay?”
“Huh? Oh yeah. It’s just so beautiful here.”
“Your reaction is a bit,” I stopped to think, “extreme.”
“Is it?” he stepped towards me. I turned back to the field to hide my burning face. Oikawa’s fingers pull my chin back towards him. Suddenly, he’s right in front of my face, but I don’t mind. I want this moment to last forever. He pulls my chin up, and right into his lips. I taste the lemon popsicle he ate earlier, and another sweeter taste. His tongue brushes against my upper lip and dips into my mouth. A new feeling explodes inside me. A longing. My hands find his waist, moving up, under his shirt. I feel his toned muscles from the years of volleyball. His hands travel from my cheekbones to my neck, where it slowly goes down.
“W-We should probably finish this at home,” I gasped.
“But I don’t want to stop,” I felt Oikawa’s breath tickle my neck.
“We’re in the open near a playground, Oikawa-senpai,” I secretly don’t want to stop either.
“Fine. Iwa-chan and your parents aren’t home, right?”
